Following advisories from Zero Day Initiative about two vulnerabilities found in QuickTime for Windows, Apple recommends everyone who has the program uninstall it. Apple is no longer going to support QuickTime and provide security updates, so the vulnerabilities will never be patched. This leaves everyone with the program at risk to hackers. Though there have not been any reports made of intrusions due to these vulnerabilities, the only way to safeguard your system is by uninstalling QuickTime.
